User guides / RRF Antenna Editor

RRF Antenna Editor helps you turn an antenna idea into a design you can inspect, compare and save.

Create a design

  1. Start a new project.
  2. Add an antenna template or one of the available antenna parts.
  3. Select an item to change its dimensions and other properties.
  4. Use the three-dimensional view to inspect the shape from different angles.
  5. Add a feed point and choose the frequency you want to explore.

You can undo changes if an experiment does not work as expected.

Check and compare

Review messages before starting a calculation. Correct any highlighted problem, calculate the design, and compare the results at the frequencies that matter to you. After changing the antenna, calculate again so the results match the latest design.

Keep your work

Save the project with a clear name and keep separate copies when trying major alternatives. Open a saved project whenever you want to continue or compare it with a newer idea.

Calculations are helpful estimates, not a replacement for measurements or safe construction practice. Return to the RRF Antenna Editor documentation for installation, project-file, result and limitation guidance.
