RRF Antenna Editor
Products / RRF Antenna Editor
RRF Antenna Editor is the focused Rainbow RF Lab application for creating, editing, calculating and studying conductive antennas and antenna structures. It combines a guided Basic workflow with the complete Engineer workspace while keeping one authoritative antenna project.

Questions it helps answer
- How can I turn an antenna idea into a precise, editable model?
- How do dimensions, feed points, loads, materials and ground relate?
- What impedance, SWR and pattern does the numerical model predict?
- How can I compare changes before building or modifying an antenna?
Start simply or inspect every detail
Basic mode keeps the common physical workflow in view. Create a project from a guided template, place the Feed Point on a visible conductor, adjust the design and calculate the current physical model. Engineer mode exposes the complete object tree, properties, parameters and advanced design controls for the same project.
Antenna-oriented modeling
Work with meaningful antenna components rather than maintaining raw coordinate lists. The object tree, properties and 3D viewport stay synchronized, and persistent edits follow the same undoable command path.
Calculation and results
Run a physical single-frequency calculation or a bounded sweep. Inspect feed impedance, resistance, signed reactance, SWR, current distribution and radiation-pattern views. Exact tables and textual alternatives remain available where charts summarize the same result.
Editing the antenna makes older results visibly stale. Run the calculation again before using a result for a decision.
Projects, offline work and privacy
RRF Antenna Editor saves editable .rfaa projects locally. Core design, calculation, recovery and export do not require an account, cloud storage, telemetry or a network connection.
Important limits
RRF Antenna Editor is an engineering calculation tool, not generic mechanical CAD. Numerical output is a model prediction, not a guarantee of tuning, gain, efficiency, range, structural safety, RF exposure or regulatory compliance. Confirm important designs with appropriate measurements and safe engineering practice.
